Commander Jackson R. Habeck is a native of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and received a commission in the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) in November 2002. Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2015.

Commander Habeck’s current assignment is the Executive Officer for Office-in-Charge of Construction, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist, a Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I credited Officer, and a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), the Navy Commendation Medal (four awards), and Navy Achievement Medal (two awards).
