As native of Alabama, Senior Chief Peppers enlisted in Navy of August 2000 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne in Ontario CA. Additionally, he holds an Associates of Science in Construction Technology from Coastline Community College, with certifications in Project and Construction Management, lean Six Sigma, and Quality Control Inspector.
He advanced to CUCS Petty Officer in calendar year 2023.
Senior Chief's Peppers previous operational assignments include Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB), One-Three-Three (133) from 2001 through 2005, NMCB FIVE from 2008 – 2013 and 2016 – 2018, and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Task Force ONE from 2018-2021. During these tours he has served in all facets of the ranks in multiple INDO/PACOM and CENTCOM environments as Project Supervisor, Air Detachment Operations Chief, Detail Officer in Charge, Assistant Convoy Commander and Convoy Commander for Security Teams, and Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) for NSW logistics and Engineering efforts in CENTCOM.
His previous shore assignments include Naval Construction Group ONE from 2005-2008, Naval Construction Training Center from 2013-2014, and Naval Facilities Institute from 2014-2015.
During these assignments he served as a military tactics and weapons instructor, School House Director of Construction Management Training for Naval Pacific (NAVPAC) Seabees, and Naval Training Systems Plans for Naval Expeditionary Program Office.
He assumed the duties of SEA to Officer in Charge of Construction, China Lake in June 2021, where $2.9B in construction recovery efforts are being executed from the devastating earthquakes in July of 2019.
Senior Chief Peppers is Seabee Combat Warfare and Expeditionary Warfare qualified with various unit and personal awards.
