Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest is one of ten facilities engineering commands in the NAVFAC Enterprise. Our command is comprised of 1,200 federal employees, including military officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians.
At NAVFAC Northwest we aim to drive performance and outcomes of systems command (SYSCOM) capabilities. By doing so, we effectively enable Fleet readiness and Marine Corps force generation. Our strategic priorities are accelerating execution performance; aggressively exercise SYSCOM authorities to enable the Fleet’s readiness and lethality; and strengthen, enhance, and accelerate our workforce learning and performance.
NAVFAC Northwest is responsible for four installations in the Pacific Northwest, including Naval Base Kitsap, Naval Station Everett, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, and Naval Magazine Indian Island. NAVFAC Northwest also provides facilities management to 14 Navy Operational Support Centers across 11 states, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa.
