Hafa Adai and Welcome to Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Marianas
On February 25, 2005, NAVFAC Marianas was commissioned, through the merger of Officer in Charge of Construction (OICC) Marianas and Public Works Center (PWC) Guam, to provide one touch-point for more efficient services while maintaining clear focus on supported command requirements. Through this consolidation and transformation of providing products and services, NAVFAC Marianas' supported commands will experience a reduction in duplication and an increase of efficiencies through standardization of business processes, translating to an overall savings to the Navy.
NAVFAC Marianas has more than 400 highly skilled civilian federal service employees, 30 military officers, and 10 enlisted Seabees.
NAVFAC Marianas is the Naval shore facilities, base operating support, and expeditionary engineering systems command that delivers life-cycle and acquisition solutions aligned to Fleet and Marine Corps priorities for Join Region Marianas and DoD activities on Guam and Oceania.
