About the Program:
The creation of Marine Corps Base (MCB) Guam is the result of an agreement between the governments of Japan and the U.S. to move several elements of the III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) from Japan to Guam, as part of the DPRI.
NAVFAC, through its Pacific (Pearl Harbor) and Marianas (Guam) commands, is the Program Execution Agent assigned to execute the master plan and environmental impact statement (EIS), and design and construction program management and acquisition.
NAVFAC Pacific’s Guam Program Management Office (GPMO) oversees NAVFAC’s mission requirements in support of the DPRI and DoD related build-up efforts on Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). The major support focus of NAVFAC Pacific's GPMO is the Marine Corps DPRI program, supporting Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) and Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC).
