Multiple Construction Contract Awarded for Berth Repairs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard

NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded AECOM Technical Services Inc., Los Angeles, California, a $91,484,397 firm-fixed-price with award fee task order (N4008522F5863) under a multiple award construction contract for berth repairs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.

NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded AECOM Technical Services Inc., Los Angeles, California, a $91,484,397 firm-fixed-price with award fee task order (N4008522F5863) under a multiple award construction contract for berth repairs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.

The work to be performed provides for repairs to Berth 40 and 41 structural components by replacing deteriorated pile systems, cast-in-place concrete systems, pile caps, concrete beams, and fender pile systems. The maximum dollar value including the base period and the potential award fee is $91,484,397.

Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by April 2024.

Fiscal year 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $91,484,397 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract was competitively procured via www.SAM.gov, with three offers received.
