Commander Cort Stringham graduated from Brigham Young University in April 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and from Texas A&M in August 2010 with a Master’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management. He commissioned in the Civil Engineer Corps through Officer Candidate School in August 2002.
CDR Stringham completed expeditionary assignments as the Assistant Training Officer, Alfa Company Commander, and Assistant Operations Officer with NMCB ELEVEN, and as the Naval Construction Force Liaison Officer, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
Ashore, he served as the Assistant Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at NAS Jacksonville, FL and Facilities Engineering and Acquisitions Division Director, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. He also served as the Military Program Advocate and Deputy Chief Management Officer for Strategy and Future Requirements at Headquarters Naval Facilities Engineering Command follow by Assistant Regional Engineer at Naval District Washington, DC. Overseas tours include the Public Works Site Officer and Operations Officer at NSA La Maddalena, Italy and the Public Works Officer for Navy Region Center Singapore.
CDR Stringham is currently assigned as the Executive Officer, Officer in Charge of Construction Marine Corps Marianas.
CDR Stringham is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Utah, a Seabee Combat Warfare and Fleet Marine Force Qualified Officer. He is Acquisition (Contracting) Level III certified, Public Works Officer Level III Qualified, and a member of the Acquisition Professional Community. Personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal ( 3 Awards), Navy Commendation Medal (3 awards) and Navy Achievement Medal (3 awards).
